Saat-saat tersebut membuat kita kehilangan kendali atas diri dan mengkondisikan diri diluar akal sehat pemikiran kita.
Teori The Secret mengatakan, partikel-partikel di tubuh ini disusun oleh energy- energy yang bermacam-macam, yakni, energi positif dan negatif. Dari pandangan diatas, alangkah baiknya, menghadapi persoalan yang ada dengan kepala dingin, yang kalau diperlukan, ambillah nafas panjang dan buang perlahan-lahan. Cara ini biasa digunakan sebagian banyak orang untuk mengatasi perasaan skeptis yang ada.
Cara ampuh yang bisa kita gunakan untuk meminimalisir pikiran negatif yakni dengan mendengarkan musik. Musik dapat mempengaruhi motorik psikologis, mental, dan emosi. Di zaman Turki kuno, yakni dinasti Ottoman, musik dipakai sebagai therapy yang ampuh yang bisa melahirkan mood dan mental yang baik disetiap kesempatan, Raja-raja Ottoman menggunakan musik sebagai theraphy bagi mereka, bahkan rumah sakit-rumah sakit di Turki kala itu menggunakan musik sebagai medium penyembuh.

Musik Metal Bantu Stabilkan Emosi

Tak semua orang suka dengan musik beraliran cadas. Iramanya yang hingar bingar dianggap sebagai musik yang hanya membuat telinga tuli. Tapi mulai sekarang, meskipun Anda tak menyukainya, tak ada salahnya jika Anda memanfaatkan keberadaannya untuk meredan stres. Tak percaya ?



Penelitian terbaru yang dilansir oleh Sciencedaily bahkan menyebutkan bahwa penggemar musik heavy metal ternyata lebih pandai meredam emosi negatif, lebih ekspresif dan lebih bisa meluapkan kemarahannya.
Penelitian yang melibatkan 1.057 murid dari usia antara 11 dan 18 tahun dari sekolah National Academy di Amerika. Semua responden diteliti dengan cermat hubungan mereka dengan keluarga, perilaku di sekolah, bagaimana mereka menghabiskan waktu santai, musik kesukaan, dan jenis media yang mereka konsumsi. “Penelitian ini berhasil membuktikan bahwa bahwa presepsi yang selama ini beredar salah. Selama ini orang menganggap murid yang cerdas dan memiliki intelijensi tinggi cenderung didominasi mereka yang suka musik klasik dan menghabiskan banyak waktu untuk membaca, ” ujar Stuart Cadwallader, kepala penelitian dari Warwick University.
Sayangnya, menurut Stuart tudi mereka yang menikmati musik heavy metal cenderung mengalami kesulitan untuk menjalin hubungan dengan keluarga dan teman-teman mereka. Dan mereka menjadikan musik sebagai media ‘keterbukaan’. Sebagian besar murid mengatakan mereka tidak mempertimbangkan untuk menjadi penganut Metal sejati tapi musik heavy metal memahami aspek spesifik kebudayaan pemuda saat ini. Dengan menggunakan musik yang keras dan agresif, mereka bisa keluar dan lepas dari rasa frustrasi dan kemarahan. Di sini berhasil dibuktikan bahwa musik heavy metal atau cadas juga bisa meredekan situasi hati atau mood yang sedang buruk. Menurut Stuart, banyak musisi aliran heavy metal juga memiliki tingkat intelijensi tinggi seperti vokalis Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson, yang selain sebagai musisi, juga berprofesi sebagai novelis dan pilot penerbangan komersial.

Musik Bantu Pasien Stroke Bicara

Ilmuwan mempresentasikan bahawa mengajarkan pasien stroke bernyanyi akan mengembalikan kemampuan bicaranya. Dengan bernyanyi, pasien menggunakan area otak yang berbeda dari lokasi yang mengaitkan cara bicara.

Jika pusat bicara seseorang rusak oleh stroke maka mereka dapat belajar menggunakan pusat nyanyiannya. Peneliti merepresentasikan temuannya ini pada pertemuan tahunan American Association for the Advancement of Science di San Diego.

Tidak Benar Musik Klasik Jadikan Bayi Pintar

Tim peneliti dari Universitas Vienna meneliti ulang 3 ribu kasus dari 40 studi internasional yang menyimpulan tidak ada bukti efek dari Mozart.

“Siapapun yang mendengarkan musik baik Mozart, Bach tidak lebih baik dari grup yang tidak. Tetapi kami mengetahui bahwa orang akan memiliki performa yang baik jika mereka memperoleh stimulus,” ujar peneliti utama Jakob Pietsching.

Riset tidak mengatakan musik tidak berdampak pada pengembangan otak, namun pendengar pasif tidak memiliki keuntungan yang masuk di akal seperti yang diperkirakan sebelumnya.

Sementara studi lainnya menyarankan bahwa proses kreatif, analitis dan aktivitas fisik terlibat dalam pembelajaran yang mampu mempengaruhi fungsi kognitif dan otak.
